On August 5, the “GBA Chain Connect · Advancing Together” Shengye Technology Site Visit & Supply-Demand Matchmaking Exchange concluded successfully. Led by the Greater Bay Area Importers and Exporters Association, the event brought together dozens of member enterprise representatives from cross-border finance, industrial investment, digital technology, and overseas marketing sectors. Through on-site visits, roundtable discussions, and one-on-one precision matchmaking sessions, participants engaged in deep dialogue on core topics including supply chain finance innovation, upstream-downstream industrial chain collaboration, and digital-enabled global expansion, effectively breaking down information barriers and enabling efficient multi-party resource linkage.

In his opening remarks, Executive President of the Association Ying Wei noted that the event, themed “Aggregating Industrial Momentum, Exploring Growth Drivers,” represents both a pragmatic exploration of Greater Bay Area industrial collaboration and an important starting point for deepening member cooperation and shared development. He highlighted Shengye Technology’s use of AI to empower supply chain finance and serve micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), noting that its growth trajectory reflects the broader transformation of GBA enterprises—shifting from “product export” to “technology and data capability export.” Calling Shengye a vivid sample of industrial upgrading, he outlined three clear objectives for the event: learning from a benchmark enterprise to absorb frontier experience; locking in cooperation opportunities through face-to-face exchange; and establishing long-term synergy rather than settling for a one-off meeting. He reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to leveraging its platform strengths to provide end-to-end support in policy interpretation, resource matchmaking, and overseas market deployment, helping GBA foreign trade enterprises advance steadily.
Guided Tour & Dialogue: Decoding Digital-Intelligent Finance
Liu Xuan, Senior Manager of the Risk Management Department at Shengye Technology, led guests through the company’s exhibition hall and office spaces, introducing Shengye’s development history, business footprint, and R&D achievements alongside a corporate video. She explained the firm’s risk-control philosophy of “transaction-centric, light on entity reliance” and its “platform-based, asset-light” growth model, showcasing digital applications such as multi-dimensional transaction cross-verification and visualized fund-flow tracking. Liu then delivered a thematic briefing on Shengye’s core business: while deepening its presence in national pillar sectors—infrastructure, pharma & healthcare, and bulk commodities—the company is actively expanding into e-commerce and cross-border markets. Through its Shengyitong Cloud Platform and AI technologies, Shengye links industrial ecosystems, conducts data analytics, and assists upstream and downstream MSMEs in “finding orders and finding capital,” building a smart matching hub between quality assets and inclusive funding.

Precision Matchmaking: Tackling Global Expansion Challenges
The roundtable and one-on-one networking sessions were hosted by Yu Guoliang, General Manager of Shengye’s E-commerce Business Department. Starting with real-world operational scenarios—from domestic e-commerce to cross-border platform sellers—Yu analyzed the common pain points and differentiated needs of sellers of varying scales regarding cash-flow cycles, payment-term management, and inventory pressure, pointing to the widespread funding bottlenecks and service gaps facing today’s global expansion enterprises. His analysis quickly resonated with attendees, sparking lively exchanges.
Participants then spoke up on practical issues spanning import-export trade, cross-border expansion, e-commerce operations, and supply chain liquidity. Discussions focused on three dimensions:
- Financing & Credit: E-commerce supply chain financing solutions, SME credit risk control, cross-border financial support, cost control of financing, and online loan disbursement speed.
- Assets & Risk Control: Feasibility of e-commerce asset securitization, handling of default and inventory risk, and strategies for extended payment cycles.
- Operations & Synergy: Differentiated services for livestreaming vs. traditional e-commerce, onshore-offshore capital coordination, and industry-wide digital transformation.
Addressing these frontline demands, Yu shared differentiated financing solutions drawing on Shengye’s experience in Southeast Asia—including localized risk-control frameworks, multi-currency fund pools, and proven e-commerce supply chain finance models. He detailed how AI-driven smart risk-control models penetrate transaction chains to enable pre-emptive cargo-rights risk management in coordination with cross-border financial institutions, and explained dynamic solvency assessment and risk-mitigation strategies amid intensifying competition, lengthening payment terms, and mounting inventory pressure. Following in-depth discussions, multiple enterprises reached preliminary cooperation意向 on cross-border payment & settlement, overseas warehouse financing, and e-commerce asset securitization, achieving a true leap from “information symmetry” to “resource.”

Closed-Loop Synergy for Ongoing Empowerment
The event formed a complete closed loop of “observation & learning – idea exchange – supply-demand matching.” From immersive visits showcasing digital supply chain finance achievements, to thematic sharing clarifying industrial opportunities and enterprise capabilities, to targeted matchmaking tackling e-commerce and foreign trade pain points, the event not only built an efficient communication platform that reduced information asymmetry in cross-border operations, e-commerce financing, and supply chain risk control, but also laid a solid foundation for deeper follow-up cooperation.
Moving forward, the Association will use the “GBA Chain Connect · Advancing Together” series as a bond to sustain regular member engagement, deepen multi-party collaboration across the GBA industrial chain, financial institutions, and tech enterprises, and jointly drive high-quality development of the import-export industry.
