GBAIEA aims to thoroughly implement the development planning outline of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, echo major development strategies such as ASEAN and the Belt and Road, give play to the functional advantages of Hong Kong's two-way platform, strengthen the economic and trade system of the Greater Bay Area, build a "9+2+N" cooperation and development pattern, create a new import and export trade service platform, focus on cross-border e-commerce, service trade, digital trade and other new foreign trade drivers, guide the transformation and upgrading of traditional import and export enterprises, and contribute to the strength of the Bay Area to promote high-quality development of foreign trade and help cultivate new quality productivity.

GBAIEA is committed to strengthening international economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, promoting the coordinated development of international trade and investment, enhancing the friendly cooperative relations between the Greater Bay Area and ASEAN, RCEP members, and jointly promoting the high-quality construction of the "the Belt and Road".
