In order to accelerate the integration of Hong Kong into the overall situation of national development, promote the trade cooperation between Hong Kong and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the Mainland region and even with the Asia-Pacific region and the global market to jointly build a safe, stable, comprehensive and effective supply chain industry chain with international influence and support the high-quality development of the country, Led by Mr Tam Yiu-chung, member of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress, Vice-President of the National Association of Hong Kong and Macao Studies, Secretary-General of the Hong Kong Re-Departure Alliance and Adviser of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong; Mr Lam Long On, Justice of the Peace, Deputy of the 13th National People's Congress and member of the 14th National People's Political Consultative Conference; Mr Chan Chun-pin, Member of the 14th National People's Congress and Chairman of the Association of Hong Kong Tioshi Associations, The Greater Bay Area Import and Export Business Association was jointly established with more than 10 Hong Kong deputies to the National People's Congress and members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) from trade-related industries in Hong Kong, as well as the 9+2 regional business associations in import and export trade-related fields in the Greater Bay Area.

The chamber aims to implement major strategies such as the Belt and Road Initiative and the China-ASEAN strategic partnership, in accordance with the development plan of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It seeks to unite and connect the import and export industry resources of the 9+2 regions in the Greater Bay Area, strengthen the economic and trade system of the Greater Bay Area, enhance trade cooperation with Taiwan, guide the transformation and upgrading of traditional foreign trade, promote the role of cross-border e-commerce, live-streaming e-commerce, service trade, re-export trade, digital trade, and international digital RMB payment applications in the new international situation, and take practical actions to promote the high-quality development of the import and export industry in the Greater Bay Area.

The chamber is committed to promoting collaboration and mutual benefit in the Greater Bay Area, making full use of each other's resources and advantages, and promoting cooperation and development in the import and export industry within the Greater Bay Area. It aims to create more opportunities and space for the high-quality development of the Greater Bay Area. At the same time, the chamber will contribute to strengthening the integration of science and technology in the Greater Bay Area, working together to promote basic research and industrialization of technology, and jointly support the establishment of the Greater Bay Area as a global hub for technological innovation. The chamber will also promote the coordinated development of international trade and investment, enhance friendly cooperation between the Greater Bay Area and ASEAN member countries and the members of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), and jointly promote the high-quality construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
